23 Mar CABO FLATS IS ON THE MOVE
March 23, 2015: Cabo Flats Mexican Restaurant and Tequila Bar which originally opened its first unit back in 2010 at Downtown at the Gardens Shopping Center in Palm Beach Gardens is in growth mode on the move.
According to Jeff Sussman of Boca Raton based Sussman Restaurant Brokerage, exclusive broker and Director of Real Estate for Cabo Flats, in addition to the Gardens location, there are currently 2 additional units operating successfully in the Delray Marketplace, West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach and at 1725 US Highway 1, Stuart, Fl (formally Bru’s Room, with 3 additional units currently under construction at the Dolphin Mall in Miami-Dade County (scheduled to open late 2015), US 1, Jupiter, Fl (scheduled to open later this summer) and at Doral City Place, scheduled to open sometime in 2017. In addition, leases are being negotiated for Cabo’s to be located in St. Lucie West, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. We continue to look for great markets to expand the Cabo brand in.
According to Sussman, “a typical Cabo Flats is between 6500 -7500 square feet with an adjacent outdoor covered patio which is a must”. Because of the restaurant’s size, Cabo is three concepts in one: A family-friendly restaurant open for lunch and dinner; a sports bar; and a bar scene that features a DJ and plenty of party-goers. Cabo Flats takes great pride in offering great food all made from fresh ingredients. At the end of the day, its great food and service along with a great experience that keeps customers coming back.
