Jeff Sussman is the founder, President and “deal maker” of SUSSMAN RESTAURANT BROKERAGE,
a boutique, Boca Raton, Florida based restaurant brokerage specializing in landlord, tenant, buyer and seller representation as related to the process of making restaurant deals happen.

Jeff describes his passion for the business and uniquely identifiable style and methods as “very hands on with personal involvement and attention to every detail and aspect of the deal from the start to finish”. Among these details and aspects are qualifying, assisting with market analysis, creative deal structuring, negotiating document terms and conditions from letter of intent to the execution of final documents, consulting on conceptual design and implementation, recommending knowledgeable and experienced available employees that are familiar with and have become part of the fabric of the community where the restaurant is located, recommendation of specific trades among a posse of reliable and trustworthy industry professionals (i.e.: lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers, designers, contractors, media and public relations) all of whom are highly accessible, attentive and focused, and last but not least, getting the deal done in the most feasible, time sensitive and economical way.

With over 40 years of experience and hundreds of high-profile successful restaurant deals to his brokerage credit, Jeff takes great pride in his ability to provide an undeniable style, level of expertise, knowledge and sense of direction towards bringing deals across the finish line. Prior to his relocating to Boca Raton, Florida and creating SUSSMAN RESTAURANT BROKERAGE in 1995, Jeff was the founder and driving force behind Sussman Bielat Realty back in the late 70’s, formally one of New Jersey’s most successful restaurant brokerages. In addition, Jeff was a product of the restaurant industry; having grown up in around his family owned and operated Mac’s Embers, one of the Jersey Shore’s most remembered restaurants. In addition, Jeff owned and operated several of his own restaurants. According to Jeff, “it was through this hands-on experience that I learned firsthand about all of the essential ingredients that go into opening, owning and operating a successful restaurant. I continue to use many of the aspects of success of the Embers as they relate to stimulating one’s senses i.e.: food, service, atmosphere, a strong sense of arrival, and maintaining positive energy levels, all to better help guide people in the right direction towards success”. Known for his insight, imagination and experience, Jeff is ranked as one of the nation’s most successful and knowledgeable independent restaurant brokers in the nation.
