March 23, 2015: Cabo Flats Mexican Restaurant and Tequila Bar which originally opened its first unit back in 2010 at Downtown at the Gardens Shopping Center in Palm Beach Gardens is in growth mode on the move.

Cabo Flats coming to CityPlace

It’s another Tequila operator for some prime party space at CityPlace in West Palm Beach. Cabo Flats Cantina and Tequila Bar will be taking the space occupied by Tequila Cowboy Bar & Grill, and its sister venue, WannaB’s Karaoke Bar. Sussman Realty’s Jeff Sussman, who brokered the deal for Cabo Flats, said the space is expected to reopen as Cabo within 45 days. “Yes, it’s pretty fast,” Sussman said. “We’ll work around the clock to do that.”

Landmark restaurant Rustic Inn under new ownership

The Rustic Inn, a Fort Lauderdale landmark known for its garlic crabs and newspaper-covered tables, has been bought by a New York-based restaurant group.
