Arka Restaurant Group, the acclaimed owner of the Kaluz Restaurants, has officially acquired Max’s Grille in Boca Raton.
The deal, finalized on Dec.2, brings new ownership to the popular Mizner park dining establishment at 404 Plaza Real, which has been a fixture in the community since 1991.
Spokesperson for Arka Restaurant Group said Max’s Grille will retain its current in-house staff, ensuring the restaurant’s atmosphere and dining experience remain unchanged for its loyal patrons.
The restaurant spans 5,680 square feet and can seat approximately 350 guests across its indoor dining room and outdoor patio. While no immediate changes are planned, Arka has expressed interest in expanding the brand in the future.
“We are happy when the opportunity was presented to us, and we have had admiration for the brand for many years. Max’s is an iconic concept inside both a great center and a great market, ” the restaurant group said. “We feel this acquisition was a natural fit for us as our company values align very well. As we stated, we will keep the long-running tradition of Max’s with subtle and modern updates. We believe that there is an opportunity for both of our concepts to grow here in South Florida.”
